Occasions Dress Shop has brought New York fashion to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.

 

Top designers such as Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, Marc Bouwer, Carmen Marc Valvo, Marchesa, Betsey Johnson and Kay Unger are all to be found in our beautiful boutique on Spruce Street in downtown Scranton.  We specialize in cocktail dresses and evening gowns and also carry all the accessories you need to complete your outfit - shoes, evening bags, jewelry and Spanx.

One unique aspect of Occasions is that a large selection of our dresses and gowns are available for rental, an option usually reserved for men's formalwear. Rentals for women have been found in some of the larger metropolitan areas for quite some time now but this is the first business in northeast PA to provide the service. For women that attend a lot of functions, as well as those for whom it is only a once a year event, it allows you to treat yourself to a fabulous designer creation for a fraction of the cost.
